About The Position

Safety-Kleen Shreveport is hiring a Local Class B Route Driver to collect waste oil and antifreeze from customer locations, including garages, automotive dealerships, quick-change oil companies, fleet maintenance facilities, bus companies, airports, and rental car companies. The driver operates a Class B tanker on a local Monday-to-Friday route, makes approximately 10–15 stops per day, pumps out tanks and drums using hoses, collects samples, and generates new customer leads in the field. The schedule is described as home nightly.

Requirements

• Minimum Class B CDL.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to operate manual 10-speed vehicles.
• Ability to use a handheld device (ELD).
• Strong customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous route experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes and act safely at all times.
