About The Position

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is hiring a dependable, safety-minded Class B Driver to support local healthcare routes in the Sturtevant, Wisconsin area. The driver collects and transports medical waste and sharps containers, operates company vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks, and provides professional customer service at healthcare facilities. The position is full-time and permanent, with a schedule of four 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, on first shift from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and an hourly rate dependent on license type: $26 for non-CDL, $27 for CDL, and $28 for CDL with a Hazmat endorsement. The posting also lists $27 per hour.

Requirements

Valid Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and a DOT medical card.
Experience operating vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks.
Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks.

Responsibilities

Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers.
Operate company vehicles, including box trucks up to 26 feet.
Manage assigned local routes and provide timely, reliable service.
Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain DOT compliance, including logs and roadside inspections.
Load and unload containers throughout the day.
Organize and prioritize the truck based on route needs.
Build positive relationships with healthcare customers through professional, friendly service.
