About The Position

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is hiring a dependable, safety-minded driver to support healthcare routes in the Sturtevant, Wisconsin area. The driver collects and transports medical waste and sharps containers, operates company vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks, and provides professional service at healthcare facilities. This is a local Monday–Friday, first-shift role scheduled for four 10-hour days, from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., for 40 hours per week. It is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for overtime. The stated hourly rate depends on license type: $26 for non-CDL, $27 for CDL, and $28 for CDL with a HAZMAT endorsement. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Full-time roles include benefits, sick leave, and vacation leave from day one. The company conducts background checks and drug testing after an offer. It may use AI tools to support parts of hiring, but final hiring decisions are made by people.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL.
• Clean driving record and DOT medical card.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Proven tenure with past employers.

• Commitment to safe driving and on-time delivery practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers.
• Operate company vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks.
• Manage assigned local routes and deliver reliable service on time.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain DOT compliance, including logs and roadside inspections.
