About The Position

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is hiring a full-time, permanent Class B Driver to support healthcare routes in the Sturtevant, Wisconsin area. The driver collects and transports medical waste and sharps containers and provides professional customer service to healthcare facilities. The position is based at 1340 Grandview Pkwy, Sturtevant, WI 53177, and works Monday through Friday on the second shift, 4 p.m. to midnight, for 40 hours per week. Weekend work is not required. The role offers a set hourly rate based on license type: $28 per hour for non-CDL, $29 per hour for CDL, and $30 per hour for CDL with a HAZMAT endorsement. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Overtime opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and a DOT medical card.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks.

• Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers.
• Operate company vehicles, including box trucks up to 26 feet.
• Manage assigned local routes and provide timely, reliable service.
• Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain DOT compliance, including logs and roadside inspections.
• Load and unload containers throughout the day; heavy lifting is required.
• Organize and prioritize the truck based on route needs.
• Build positive relationships with healthcare customers through professional, friendly service.
