About The Position

As a local delivery driver at Dutch Farms, you will deliver refrigerated and frozen food products to local grocery stores throughout Illinois and Indiana. The role has a 4 a.m. start time, provides daily home time, and includes an assigned truck. The schedule is Monday through Friday and every other Saturday, with Sundays and every other Saturday off. Pay is weekly, with a starting wage of $24 per hour, time-and-a-half after 40 hours, estimated weekly gross pay of $1,000–$1,300, and estimated annual gross income of $64,000–$67,000. Potential additional income is available through attendance, safety, equipment collection, and referral bonuses. Requirements

Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
Familiarity with electronic logs and hours-of-service regulations.
English Language Proficiency as required by DOT regulations.
Ability to push, pull, lift, and rotate.
Physical Demand Limit generally of 60–70 pounds, with occasional demands of up to 150 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver refrigerated and frozen food products to local grocery stores throughout Illinois and Indiana.
Inspect equipment and complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Use pressure bars and e-track bars to secure loads and maintain safety.
Safely unload products at customer delivery locations.
Maintain accurate load paperwork.
Communicate professionally with management.
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
