About The Position
Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Class B driver to operate a 26-foot box truck in the West Palm Beach, Florida area. The driver collects sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations, delivers and stores containers, and provides a high level of customer service. This is a permanent, full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday on the first shift, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with weekends off. The posting describes the schedule as four 10-hour days and states that the position is 40 hours per week. The offered, non-negotiable rate is $24.00 per hour. Full-time employees receive benefits, sick leave, and vacation leave from day one. Overtime opportunities are available. Daniels Health provides safety systems and regulated waste collection services for hospitals and other healthcare customers. Requirements
- At least 2 years of delivery experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
- Valid DOT medical card.
- Experience performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
- A can-do attitude and strong customer focus.
- Proven longevity in past employment.
- Touch freight experience.

Responsibilities
- Operate a 26-foot box truck safely.
- Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
- Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
- Complete deliveries according to the schedule and clearly communicate changes.
- Load and unload the truck and organize it according to schedule needs.
- Comply with DOT regulations, log hours, and complete roadside inspections.
- Push and pull a four-wheeled cart weighing as much as 200 pounds.
