About The Position

Cadence Petroleum Group is recruiting a Package Delivery Driver for its Norcross, Georgia facility. The driver transports products to customers in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations, operates company vehicles safely and professionally, and works with dispatch to complete efficient deliveries. The role also includes loading and unloading products, customer service, vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation, daily DOT E-logs, invoice checks, and reporting incidents or vehicle issues. A valid Class A or B CDL is required. Tanker and Hazmat endorsements are preferred but are not required at hire.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to safely load and unload products.
• Ability to perform the listed physical demands, including lifting or moving up to 65 pounds unassisted and pushing or pulling 200+ pounds with appropriate moving and safety equipment.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license, required endorsements, and DOT physical card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products according to the manifest, company procedures, and DOT regulations.
• Operate company vehicles in a professional, safe, and courteous manner.
• Coordinate with dispatchers to plan efficient deliveries.
• Use knowledge of customer schedules, delivery times, traffic volume, and alternate routes to improve route efficiency.
• Safely load and unload products based on load size and content description.
• Provide good customer service and maintain a professional manner and appearance.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and corrective and preventative maintenance, documenting findings on truck inspection sheets.
• Maintain a daily DOT E-log.
• Ensure delivery of the appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoices.
• Report accidents, damage, and malfunctions to management and complete required documentation promptly.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license, endorsements, and DOT physical card, and submit renewal copies to the manager promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
