About The Position

Cadence Petroleum Group, doing business as Hoosier Penn Oil, is recruiting Package/Combo Delivery Drivers for its Indianapolis, Indiana facility. Drivers transport and deliver products safely according to company policies, customer invoices, and DOT regulations. The role includes operating company vehicles, coordinating efficient routes with dispatch, loading and unloading products, providing professional customer service, maintaining required records and credentials, and reporting vehicle issues or accidents.

The position requires a valid Class A or B CDL, Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, a current DOT physical certification, and compliance with DOT mandates and regulations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products according to the manifest safely and in accordance with company procedures and DOT regulations.
• Operate company vehicles professionally, safely, and courteously.
• Coordinate with dispatchers to determine efficient deliveries.
• Use knowledge of customer schedules, delivery times, traffic volume, and alternate routes to improve route efficiency.
• Safely load and unload products according to load size and content description.
• Provide good customer service and maintain a professional manner and appearance.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, corrective and preventative maintenance, and document findings on truck inspection sheets.
• Maintain a daily DOT electronic log.
• Ensure delivery of the appropriate merchandise according to customer invoices.
• Report accidents, damage, or malfunctions to management and complete required documentation promptly.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license, endorsements, and DOT physical card, and submit copies of renewals to the manager promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
