About The Position

Helena Agri-Enterprises is hiring a reliable and dependable Truck Driver to represent the company courteously and professionally on the road and at the home office. Drivers use tact and diplomacy when working with customers, employees, and leaders. This local driving position offers hourly pay and drivers are home every night. The role includes loading and unloading trailers, transporting loads to destinations, handling shipping documents, completing basic vehicle checks, and providing customer service. The work takes place in warehouse and outdoor environments and involves exposure to varied weather, equipment, and other workplace hazards, as well as substantial physical activity.

Requirements

• Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat endorsement is required.
• Tanker endorsement is required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license is required, and the applicant must meet all company requirements to drive a Helena vehicle.
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required.

• Communicating in Spanish is a valuable skill at Helena.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using a forklift or hand truck.
• Transport loads along the required route to the proper destinations.
• Obtain shipping bills and necessary signatures.
• Return completed paperwork to the shipping office.
• Remove empty skids from the trailer truck and carry them to the designated piling area.
• Perform miscellaneous vehicle service duties, including checking oil, water, gasoline, and tire air daily.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the leader.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
