About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a Class B CDL Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to deliver building materials and perform warehouse duties. The driver is responsible for the safety of each delivery from departure from the facility through completion at the job site, following assigned schedules and job directives. This is a labor-intensive role that requires repeated physical handling of materials. The position does not require over-the-road travel, and drivers are home every night.

Warehouse work includes loading and unloading materials from trucks or into the warehouse as assigned. Pay is $24–$26 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Valid CDL, Class B minimum.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds; common cargo includes 70-pound bundles of shingles.
• Complete pre-employment and random drug screens.

Nice To Haves

• Flatbed truck experience.
• Trailer-mounted forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site delivery.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
• Document each step of every delivery by taking and uploading photos using the camera phone system.
• Complete a thorough truck load check before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to place materials and unload them.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide customers with an invoice after each delivery and collect the full amount due on COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading materials onto or off trucks or into the warehouse as assigned.
