About The Position

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL Driver/Warehouse Associate to deliver building materials and perform warehouse work. The role ensures the safety of each delivery from departure from the facility through completion at the job site. It is labor-intensive and requires physically handling materials. The position does not require over-the-road travel, and drivers are home every night.

The employee is responsible for customer service, safe work zones, following delivery schedules and job instructions, documenting deliveries with photos, inspecting and securing truck loads, coordinating material placement and unloading, and completing required logs and government paperwork. Warehouse duties include loading and unloading materials from trucks or into the warehouse as assigned.

Pay is $24–$26 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL at minimum.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Required to complete a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens.

Nice To Haves

• Flatbed truck experience.
• Trailer-mounted forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
• Document each step of deliveries by taking and uploading photos using the camera phone system.
• Check the truck load before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to place materials and unload them.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide customers with an invoice after each delivery and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or into the warehouse as assigned.
