About The Position

POOLCORP is seeking a Class B CDL Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to make safe, complete, accurate, and on-time local deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation and other applicable regulations. Drivers are home every night and are guaranteed at least 40 hours per week, whether or not weather permits deliveries. The position is safety-sensitive and requires compliance with state and federal motor carrier regulations.

The role involves selecting effective delivery routes, loading and unloading products, securing loads and separating hazardous materials appropriately, collecting payments, and documenting deliveries. Drivers also inspect and maintain their vehicles, report maintenance needs, build job and product knowledge, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid commercial driver's license; a HAZMAT endorsement is preferred.
• Have no more than two combined violations or at-fault accidents in the past three years, as indicated by the Motor Vehicle Record and Pre-Employment Screening Program.
• Be able to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Have excellent customer service skills.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Be able to carry out instructions with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with PCs and material handling equipment.
• Moffett, Skelly, or air brake experience.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries using effective routes to ensure orders arrive on time.
• Load and unload vehicles, properly secure products, and separate hazardous materials appropriately.
• Collect payments and accurately document deliveries.
• Comply with state and federal regulations, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform a supervisor of maintenance needs.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and presentable.
• Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
