Class Action and Complex Litigation Attorney
About The Position
The Akron, Ohio office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an attorney to join its Commercial Litigation Practice. The attorney will handle complex commercial litigation and large class actions, including all phases of litigation: drafting and reviewing pleadings, conducting legal research and analysis, motion practice, and oral advocacy. The ideal candidate has experience representing institutional SFR/BTR companies in defense matters involving fair housing, criminal investigations by state Attorney General offices, employment, and national operational compliance. Superior writing, analytical, research, and communication skills are essential. Admission to the Ohio Bar is required; admission to the Alabama Bar is a plus.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience handling commercial litigation and large class actions.
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of litigation, with a focus on complex commercial matters and class actions.
- Superior writing skills and strong analytical and research abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Admission to the Ohio Bar.
Nice To Haves
- Admission to the Alabama Bar.
