About The Position

Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an attorney to join its Commercial Litigation Practice in the Cleveland, Ohio office. The attorney will handle all phases of litigation, including drafting and reviewing pleadings, conducting legal research and analysis, motion practice, and oral advocacy. The role focuses on complex commercial matters and class actions, including defense litigation for institutional SFR/BTR companies.

Requirements

Two to fifteen years of experience handling commercial litigation and large class actions.
Demonstrated experience in all aspects of litigation, with a focus on complex commercial matters and class actions.
Superior writing skills, strong analytical and research abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Admission to the Ohio Bar is required.

Admission to the Alabama Bar.

Responsibilities

Handle all phases of litigation, including drafting and reviewing pleadings, legal research and analysis, motion practice, and oral advocacy.
Represent institutional SFR/BTR companies in defense litigation involving fair housing, criminal investigations by state Attorney General offices, employment, and national operational compliance.
Work on complex commercial matters and class actions.
