About The Position

The Lexington, Kentucky office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an attorney to join its Commercial Litigation Practice. The attorney will handle commercial litigation and large class actions, including matters involving institutional SFR/BTR companies and defense litigation related to fair housing, state Attorney General criminal investigations, employment, and national operational compliance. The role covers all phases of litigation, including drafting and reviewing pleadings, legal research and analysis, motion practice, and oral advocacy. Superior writing skills, strong analytical and research abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential. Admission to the Kentucky Bar is required; admission to the Alabama Bar is a plus.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience handling commercial litigation and large class actions.
Demonstrated experience in all aspects of litigation, with a focus on complex commercial matters and class actions.
Superior writing skills.
Strong analytical and research abilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Admission to the Kentucky Bar is required.

Nice To Haves

Admission to the Alabama Bar is a plus.
Experience representing institutional SFR/BTR companies in defense litigation concerning fair housing, state Attorney General criminal investigations, employment, and national operational compliance.
