About The Position
Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator for its team in Reidsville, North Carolina. The route runs from Reidsville to various locations in the Northeast and averages 2,800–3,000 miles per week. The role offers average annual earnings of $200,000–$250,000 and bi-weekly home time. Compensation covers all on-duty time through hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay.
Requirements
- Class A CDL.
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
- At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
- Ability to effectively use required technology, including mobile applications and computer software.
Responsibilities
- Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act safely at all times.
- Operate tractor-trailer units.
- Adhere to weight requirements and ensure proper utilization of units.
- Ensure hazardous and non-hazardous waste is properly loaded and unloaded, and secure loads appropriately.
- Placard vehicles in accordance with company and Department of Transportation requirements and regulations.
- Maintain daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
