About The Position

Clean Harbors is hiring a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver for its team in Baltimore, Maryland. The route runs from Baltimore to various locations in Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, and New Jersey, averaging 2,400–2,500 miles per week. Drivers have weekly home time and average $95,000–$110,000 per year, or $1,800–$2,000 per week. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available. Compensation includes hourly wages for all on-duty non-driving time and mileage pay. The driver operates tractor-trailer units and other vehicles while transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste. The role emphasizes compliance with health and safety practices, proper loading and securing of cargo, and adherence to company and Department of Transportation requirements. Drivers maintain required logs and reports. Requirements

Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
Ability to use required technology, including mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act safely at all times.
Operate tractor-trailer units and other vehicles.
Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of vehicles.
Ensure hazardous and non-hazardous waste is properly loaded and unloaded, and secure loads appropriately.
Placard vehicles according to company and Department of Transportation requirements and regulations.
Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
