About The Position

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver for its safety-conscious team in Baltimore, Maryland. The route runs from Baltimore to locations in Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, and New Jersey, averaging 2,400–2,500 miles per week. Drivers average $95,000–$110,000 per year, or $1,800–$2,000 per week. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available, and drivers have weekly home time. Compensation includes hourly wages for all on-duty non-driving time and mileage pay. The role involves operating tractor-trailer units and other vehicles, transporting and securing hazardous and non-hazardous waste, complying with safety practices and applicable transportation regulations, and completing required logs and reports.

Requirements

Class A CDL.
At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
Ability to effectively use required technology, such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act safely at all times.
Operate tractor-trailer units and other vehicles.
Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of vehicles.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste and secure loads properly.
Place required placards on vehicles in accordance with company and Department of Transportation requirements and regulations.
Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
