About The Position

Phillips Pet Food & Supplies is hiring a Class A CDL Route Driver in Clive, Iowa. The role delivers pet food and supplies and involves moving trailers, transporting equipment, completing delivery documentation, and maintaining company equipment and required certifications. Drivers use 40–48 ft. tractor-trailers equipped with rail gates and electric pallet jacks or two-wheel dollies. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with three overnight layovers and an average of 40 or more hours per week. Drivers must be flexible with overnight layovers. Routes average 12–18 stops. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 1 year of driving experience.
Ability to pass FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements.
Strong driving record.
Knowledge of DOT regulations.
Flexibility with scheduling and overnight layovers.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Deliver pet food and supplies using 40–48 ft. tractor-trailers equipped with rail gates and electric pallet jacks or two-wheel dollies.
Safely move and stage trailers in and out of bay doors.
Transport equipment to vendors and repair facilities.
Deliver vendor-supplied products.
Complete daily logs and required documentation.
Protect company equipment and maintain required certifications.
