About The Position
Phillips Pet Food & Supplies is hiring a Class A CDL Driver in Taunton, Massachusetts. The role delivers pet food and supplies and vendor products, transports equipment to vendors and repair facilities, and supports safe trailer handling and a safety-first workplace. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 7 a.m., with weekends off and a 40–45-hour workweek. It may require up to one overnight layover per week, Wednesday into Thursday; a hotel and per diem are provided. Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 2 years of driving experience.
- Strong, clean driving record and ability to pass a Clearinghouse check.
- Solid understanding of DOT regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed and be available for an overnight layover.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pet food and supplies using 40–48-foot tractor-trailers equipped with rail gates and electric pallet jacks or two-wheel dollies.
- Safely move and stage trailers in and out of bay doors.
- Transport equipment to vendors and repair facilities.
- Deliver vendor-supplied products.
- Complete daily logs and required documentation.
- Protect company equipment and maintain required certifications.
- Contribute to a strong, safety-first culture.
