About The Position

Phillips Pet Food & Supplies is hiring a Class A CDL Driver in Taunton, Massachusetts, to deliver pet food and supplies on routine weekday routes. The position starts at 7 a.m. and typically involves a 40–45-hour workweek. Drivers may have up to one overnight layover per week, Wednesday into Thursday, with a hotel and per diem provided. The role emphasizes safe driving, reliable service, care of company equipment, and participation in a safety-first culture.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Strong, clean driving record and ability to pass a Clearinghouse check.
• Solid understanding of DOT regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed and be available for an overnight layover.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pet food and supplies using 40–48 ft. tractor-trailers equipped with rail gates and electric pallet jacks or 2-wheel dollies.
• Safely move and stage trailers in and out of bay doors.
• Transport equipment to vendors and repair facilities.
• Deliver vendor-supplied products.
• Complete daily logs and required documentation.
• Protect company equipment and maintain required certifications.
• Contribute to a strong, safety-first culture.
