About The Position

Binford Supply is seeking a motivated, safety-conscious CDL A Truck Driver to deliver fencing materials and related cargo to businesses and residences. The driver is responsible for timely deliveries, safe commercial vehicle operation, route management, cargo securement, and compliance with applicable regulations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime required as needed. Pay is $25–$26 per hour, depending on experience. On days without delivery runs, the driver may assist with warehouse and yard duties.

Requirements

Three years of Class A CDL driving experience.
Ability to drive a manual-transmission vehicle.
One year of flatbed truck operating experience.
Knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
Experience with strapping and cargo securement.
Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Knowledge of electronic logging requirements and GPS systems, and ability to read maps.
Clean driving record and diligent attention to safety.
Moffett experience required.

Responsibilities

Operate a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintain driver duty-status, mileage, and other records required by law.
Make local deliveries to businesses and residences, maneuvering safely in traffic, inclement weather, and tight spaces; travel long distances when required.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers, and maintain service and repair logs.
Report injuries, vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, and vehicle damage according to company procedures.
Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required.
Complete paperwork related to truck operation and freight movement accurately.
Use truck cab computers or tablets, CB radios, phones, GPS equipment, and other tools to communicate and exchange information.
Secure cargo properly and maintain safe load securement throughout trips.
Assist with warehouse and yard duties on days without delivery runs.
Work overtime as required.
