About The Position

VP Supply Corp. is hiring a dependable, experienced Class A CDL driver for its Central Distribution Center in Shortsville, New York. The driver transports products between the distribution center and branch locations throughout New York, completing deliveries safely, accurately, and on time. The position offers steady daytime work and the opportunity to build a long-term career with an established, growing, family-owned wholesale distributor.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Previous professional Class A CDL driving experience.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to meet applicable DOT medical certification and driver qualification requirements.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and secure materials.
• Ability to climb in and out of the truck, lift and move products, and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Ability to complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
• Dependability, punctuality, and responsibility.
• Understanding of DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and proper handling of materials.
• Ability to manage routes independently and solve problems on the road.
• Willingness to help load, unload, and move products as needed.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and liftgates.
• Familiarity with Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport products between the distribution center and branch locations.
• Complete scheduled delivery routes safely and on time.
• Load, unload, and secure products for transportation.
• Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and liftgates to move materials.
• Verify deliveries and complete required paperwork and driver logs.
• Communicate with dispatch and warehouse team members throughout the day.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Comply with applicable DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, organized, and safe.
