About The Position

Shrader Tire & Oil is seeking a dependable, experienced CDL Class A Driver to deliver products to customers and fleet store locations throughout Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. The role includes operating a 53-foot tractor-trailer or tanker truck, handling a variety of products, completing delivery paperwork, tracking hours electronically, and performing vehicle inspections. Some warehouse duties are also required. Drivers work Monday through Friday, starting at 7 a.m., in 8–10-hour shifts, return home daily, and do not work weekends.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience operating a tractor-trailer.
At least 1 year of experience delivering products to customers.
Knowledge of route sheets and delivery paperwork.
A safe and verifiable driving record.
Adherence to safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
Provide own safety footwear and weather-appropriate outerwear.
Meet federal commercial driving qualifications, including having a valid DOT Medical Card.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to work in a fast-paced physical environment.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repetitively and to twist, push or pull, bend, squat, climb, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Operate a 53-foot tractor-trailer or tanker truck.
Load and unload products, including 55-gallon drums, 330-gallon totes, packaged goods, and tires.
Complete required paperwork, including work orders, signatures, and CODs.
Track hours using an electronic log.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Perform warehouse duties such as operating a forklift and pallet jack and loading and unloading.
Perform other duties as assigned.
