About The Position

The Class A CDL Driver operates an F-450 truck with a gooseneck trailer to load and transport trench safety equipment between branch and client locations safely and legally. The role ensures branch equipment pickups and deliveries are carried out efficiently, accurately, and on time. The driver also manages the vehicle’s interior and exterior appearance and maintenance.

Requirements

• Must have a Class A CDL.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and required drug and alcohol screenings.
• Must have at least one year of commercial truck driving experience.
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record for insurance coverage purposes.
• Must be willing to work overtime.
• Must have a basic understanding of truck maintenance concepts.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment using forklifts, and deliver equipment between branch and client locations.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and branch departments to meet and exceed customer expectations for rental equipment delivery.
• Prepare service tickets, time sheets, and other work documentation accurately, completely, and on time.
• Submit required DOT inspections, logs, and documentation to branch management as required by law.
• Promote safety and ensure work and driving are performed as safely as possible.
• Maintain the truck’s appearance and maintenance, and communicate vehicle deficiencies to branch management.
• Maintain job-related training as required.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
