About The Position
AKHIRE is recruiting a reliable CDL Class A Driver to operate tractor-trailer routes within Alaska and on some out-of-state routes, and to complete deliveries. The position is located in Anchorage, Alaska, and is full-time. Pay is $30–$35 per hour, plus mileage incentives. A full benefits package is available and will be discussed.
Requirements
- Class A CDL.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous tanker experience.
- Drug screening and background check are required.
- Hazmat endorsement and other endorsements as required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products on assigned routes.
- Load and unload products.
- Drive to delivery locations, including commercial and industrial sites.
- Follow safety procedures for transporting goods and handling materials.
- Process paperwork related to freight.
- Inspect and maintain vehicles, including checking gas, oil, coolant, tires, lights, and brakes.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance, emergency repairs, and vehicle cleaning.
