About The Position
Pet Food Experts (PFX) is hiring a safety-minded Class A CDL Driver for its Suwanee, Georgia distribution center. Drivers deliver pet food and supplies to independent pet retailers throughout the Southeast, representing PFX and providing reliable, professional customer service. The position includes a mix of day routes and regional routes lasting 2–3 days, with approximately 1–2 overnight trips depending on the assigned route. Routes generally cover 600–1,200 miles across Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee. Typical shifts are approximately 8–12 hours, with start times generally between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM. Drivers operate tractor-trailers and make inside deliveries, unloading products with liftgates and pallet or hand jacks. The role involves frequent entry and exit from the truck and manually bending, lifting, and moving items up to 40 pounds. Drivers complete paperwork and maintain records in accordance with state and federal regulations, and follow DOT regulations and PFX safety policies. Trucks are equipped with 360-degree camera systems. The position pays $29.00 per hour, offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, overtime for hours worked over 40 per week, and a $100 daily per diem for overnight routes. Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Valid DOT Medical Certificate.
- Ability to safely and independently bend, lift, and move up to 40 pounds.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to safety.
- Comfort with early morning start times and 1–2 overnight trips.
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and delivery equipment.
- Successful completion of required pre-employment testing and screening, including physical/drug testing, MVR, and background checks.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year of experience operating CDL equipment preferred.
- Liftgate experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer on assigned routes in a timely, efficient, and legal manner.
- Make inside deliveries of pet food and supplies to independent retailers.
- Provide exceptional customer service at each delivery.
- Safely unload products using liftgates and pallet or hand jacks.
- Bend, lift, and move products up to 40 pounds safely.
- Enter and exit the truck frequently throughout the shift.

- Operate equipment responsibly and maintain professionalism on the road and at customer locations.
