About The Position

This position is for new Class A CDL holders in West Michigan who are looking for paid training and a guaranteed income. The company offers a structured training program with an experienced trainer for 4 to 6 weeks, followed by a guaranteed weekly income for the first three months of solo driving. The job involves driving East of the Mississippi, hauling dry van loads with drop and hook and some live stops, with consistent mileage and steady freight.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Completed 120+ hours at an accredited CDL program, or 6 months OTR in the last year, or 12 months OTR in the last 5 years.
• Two or fewer moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• No DUI or DWI within the last 5 to 10 years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to pass a hair and urine drug screening.
• Reside within 200 miles of Detroit, MI.

Nice To Haves

• Experienced drivers can have a rider or pet join them on day one.
• New drivers can have a rider or pet join them after training.

Responsibilities

• Complete 4 to 6 weeks of paid training with an experienced driver.
• Drive a truck and haul real loads.
• Complete drop and hook and some live stops.
• Operate within the Eastern part of the Mississippi.
• Maintain a consistent driving schedule of 2,100 to 2,500 miles per week.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
