About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team for local deliveries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating an 18-wheeler with a refrigerated trailer, handling refrigerated goods, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Experience operating an 18-wheeler/tractor-trailer with a refrigerated trailer.
Current DOT medical certification, as applicable.
Acceptable driving record.
Knowledge of local routes and delivery areas.
Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers.
Ability to safely load, unload, and secure cargo independently.
Ability to safely handle refrigerated goods and maintain proper temperature control.
Ability to comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements.
Ability to operate forklift equipment safely, or willingness to obtain required training
Strong commitment to safety and excellent customer service skills

Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

Safely operate an 18-wheeler with a refrigerated trailer for local deliveries
Manage and maintain refrigerated cargo, ensuring proper handling and temperature control
At times, may be required to load and unload your own truck, including handling freight in the warehouse when necessary.
Use forklift equipment to assist with loading and unloading
Perform basic mechanical checks and routine maintenance on the vehicle.
Perform warehouse tasks when deliveries are not scheduled.
Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation.
