About The Position

This is a regional over-the-road route where you will be responsible for safely delivering helium compressed gas cylinders to scheduled, repeat customers. You will load and unload cylinders, return empties to the fill plant, perform daily vehicle safety inspections, complete delivery paperwork, and maintain DOT compliance. Building relationships with regular customers and helping manage their inventory needs is also a key part of the role. The route is dedicated, meaning you deliver to established, repeat customers with no cold stops, no chasing new freight, and no touch-and-go dispatching. The product is clean and non-flammable, the route is familiar every week, and you will be home every weekend. You will depart Monday morning and be on the road Monday through Thursday/Friday, with 3 to 4 overnights per week, returning home on Friday. The territory is divided into 4 zones, with one zone covered per week, allowing you to focus on the same general area all week. You will stay in a hotel, not a sleeper.

Requirements

Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
1 year of driving experience or driving school training within the past 4 years
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, read highway signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports
