Requirements

Valid Class 1/AZ License is required.
Clean driving abstract for at least 5 years
1-3 Years of Flatbed/ Open Deck experience
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable with smartphone technology.
Reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors.
Comfortable reversing in to tight spaces.
Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada.
Valid Passport with ability to travel to US for long haul trips.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
Manage appropriate cargo documentation and provide necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
Coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
Maintain contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
