Clamp Truck Operator - 2nd Shift

About The Position

This role is responsible for operating a clamp truck to move product safely and efficiently from trucks to the staging area. The operator will also perform daily safety inspections of the equipment, maintain a clean work environment, and execute lockout/tag out procedures. Additionally, the position involves picking and staging orders, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring inventory integrity through proper handling and storage.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Successful candidate must be willing to work any shift.
• Certified industrial driver or ability to get certified in a timely manner.
• Ability to safely operate a propane powered forklift.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have 6 months forklift experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the product is moved from the truck to the staging area in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain and perform daily safety inspections of the clamp truck and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform lockout/tag out procedures on trailers.
• Maintain good housekeeping and manufacturing practices at all times.
• Pick and stage orders and load and unload trucks, while maintaining inventory integrity through proper handling and storage.
