About The Position

Resolute Management, Inc. is a Third-Party Administrator hired by clients to handle complex environmental, asbestos, and/or latent type insurance claims. Our headquarters are located in Boston, MA, and we have additional offices located in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Stamford, CT. The Claims Technician assists the Account Manager in monitoring, reviewing and coordinating activities involving complex environmental, asbestos and latent type claims.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting assigned deadlines.
  • Excellent administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical/quantitative skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior office experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including ability to create formulas and manipulate data in Excel spreadsheets.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree, and/or completion of an accredited paralegal program, or equivalent as may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the allocation and processing of invoices and settlement payments.
  • Summarize and analyze claim documents (including historical files) as directed.
  • Assist in collection, standardization and assimilation of quantitative data necessary to evaluate large exposures.
  • Prepare reports with the assistance of the Account Manager and provide reporting assistance for special assignments and projects.
  • Assist with policy review, analysis and documentation.
  • Review accounts for compliance with audit criteria and assist Account Managers in updating where necessary.
