About The Position

As a Claims Payments Specialist, you will serve as a vital link between our claim operations and accounting divisions. This is not just a data-entry role; you will actively manage the payment lifecycle, resolve transactional discrepancies, and ensure our dealerships, repair facilities, and vendors experience world-class financial service. This position requires a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys the intersection of customer service and accounting. This is a full time, hourly, in-office position based in Richardson, TX.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required OR Associate’s degree in business administration, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in payment processing, billing operations, or a high-volume, transactional accounting support role
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage inbound volume with a calm, helpful, and professional demeanor.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to pivot seamlessly between administrative tasks, deep analytical tracking, and phone communication.
• Natural aptitude for problem-solving; someone who looks beyond the surface of a payment discrepancy to find the root cause and correct it.

Responsibilities

• Process financial workflows generated by the claims department, executing secure, timely payments to repair facilities utilizing credit card merchant processors
• Gather, code, and organize incoming invoices for the Accounts Payable pipeline, ensuring alignment with general ledger requirements
• Professionally field and resolve inquiries via phone and email from customers, dealerships, repair facilities and vendors regarding payments
• Proactively investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve payment processing issues, failed card authorizations, and invoice mismatches
