About The Position

As a Claims Analyst supporting Voya Leave Management (VLM), you will guide claimants through the integrated leave process with empathy and clarity. The primary focus is Short Term Disability, Family Medical Leave (FMLA), and other paid leaves. The role ensures a high standard of service while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in FMLA or unpaid leave claims management.
• 2 years of experience in short-term disability or paid leave claims management.
• Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills.
• Medical/vocational management.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and determine claim payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Make claim decisions on non-complex disability claims.
• Communicate clearly and professionally by phone and email.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in team-based problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage assigned work queues within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
