About The Position

As a Claims Analyst III specializing in EPL and D&O, you will identify, investigate, and resolve coverage issues at the earliest appropriate time. You will communicate policy coverage issues clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to insureds, brokers, underwriters, and risk managers. The role involves coordinating with defense counsel, insureds, and monitoring counsel to support coverage, liability, and damages analysis; exploring technology, structured settlements, and other strategic, cost-effective claim resolutions; and analyzing and budgeting litigation. You will determine judgmental values for pending files within a reasonable timeframe, make presentations to management as needed, and manage reserve adjustments and payments to avoid deficit payments.

Requirements

At least 1 year of claims and/or litigation experience.
Ability to analyze insurance policies and legal documents.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Financial experience preferred.
JD highly preferred.

Responsibilities
