About The Position
Investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and settles moderately difficult claims. Takes appropriate action to achieve results that positively affect profitability. Settles claims for assigned lines of business promptly and equitably under general supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive claims investigation and settlement experience, with 1–3 years of experience in Claims or a similar organization.
- Ability to work independently while assimilating various technical subjects.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze information, determine a course of action, and implement the selected course of action.
- Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
- Effective interpersonal skills to deal with external sources and all levels of employees.
Responsibilities
- Receives claim assignments, confirms policy coverages, and directs acknowledgement of claims.
- Investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and settles moderately difficult claims.
