About The Position

Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle moderate-difficulty claims, taking appropriate action to achieve results that positively affect profitability. Settle claims for assigned lines of business promptly and equitably under general supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive claims investigation and settlement experience, with 1–3 years of experience in Claims or a similar organization.
• Ability to work independently while assimilating various technical subjects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to gather and analyze information, determine a course of action, and implement it.
• Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
• Effective interpersonal skills to deal with external sources and employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Receive claim assignments, confirm policy coverages, and direct acknowledgement of claims.
• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims of moderate difficulty.
• Settle claims for assigned lines of business promptly and equitably.
