Civil Rights & Social Justice Fundraiser - $20/hr + Bonuses

Public Outreach Consultancy Inc•Denver, CO
•$0 - $20•Onsite

About The Position

Public Outreach is hiring passionate, outgoing people to join our Denver fundraising team and represent leading nonprofit organizations working to protect civil rights and create meaningful social change. This is face-to-face fundraising where you will work alongside a team in public spaces throughout the Denver area, starting conversations about important civil-rights and social-impact campaigns. You will approach and speak with people from all walks of life, talk about civil rights, equality, and social justice, explain important issues in a clear, human way, share how nonprofit organizations are working to protect people's rights, inspire people to take action by becoming monthly donors, and work toward individual and team fundraising goals. You will receive regular coaching and support from experienced leaders. This is not petitioning or volunteer work; you'll be asking people directly to financially support nonprofit organizations through monthly donations. Campaign assignments can change over time, but the purpose remains similar - helping nonprofit organizations build the public support they need to continue their work.
