CWE, an Apex Company, is seeking a skilled Civil Project Manager (PE) in Roseville, California. This role involves leading design engineers on various projects, ensuring quality and efficiency, and collaborating with the Director of Engineering. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and annual bonus opportunities.

Requirements

5+ years of civil engineering experience
California PE License
Excellent knowledge of design software such as Civil 3D or similar
Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.
Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills
Strong project management and decision-making abilities
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Collaborative mindset with leadership and mentoring capabilities
Problem-solver who can think both creatively and technically

Responsibilities

Manage civil engineering projects from planning through construction.
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
Lead design efforts for grading, drainage, utilities, and site development.
Prepare and review plans, specifications, calculations, and technical reports for various improvements using Civil 3D and associated software.
Coordinate with clients, agencies, consultants, and internal teams.
Oversee permitting, entitlements, and regulatory approvals.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and deliverables.
Mentor junior engineers and oversee technical staff.
Support construction activities including submittal review, RFIs, and field issue resolution.
Manage engineering projects while providing hands-on design oversight and technical direction.
Responsible for QA/QC efforts and serves as Engineer of Record, reviewing, approving and signing plans.
