About The Position

Simms Showers LLP is seeking a Civil Litigation Senior Associate who wants to practice at a high level in a place where their faith is part of the firm’s foundation. This is a full-scope civil litigation role with real responsibility and independence. The associate will represent plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of civil and commercial litigation matters, ranging from contract and business disputes to personal injury and complex claims. The role involves managing cases through all phases of litigation in state and federal courts, serving as lead or key counsel from initial demand through resolution (motion, settlement, trial, or appeal). The work will span state and federal courts across Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. Requirements

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience
• Active bar admission in Virginia or eligibility to waive in
• Demonstrated litigation experience
• Judicial clerkship

Nice To Haves

• 5-10+ years of experience preferred
• Maryland and DC bar admission is a plus
