Weston & Sampson is seeking a Civil Engineer with 0 to 4 years of experience for their Reading, MA office. This role focuses on the evaluation, design, and construction of land development associated with renewable energy projects in the northeastern United States. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
- Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and design skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning
- Valid driver’s license required
Nice To Haves
- EIT Certification
- HydroCAD software experience
- Construction experience
- Engineering Consulting industry experience
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers with the preparation of permitting applications, design plans, and specifications.
- Visit job sites to perform project tasks including field inspections, SWPPP inspections, and surveying and construction observation.
- Perform engineering design, CAD drafting support, stormwater analysis, and preparation of permitting applications.
- Work on a variety of civil engineering projects with an emphasis on civil land development for renewable energy projects.
- Travel as required.
