About The Position
Maysville Community and Technical College is now inviting applications for Civil Engineering Technology, Surveying and Mapping Program adjuncts at any of campus locations. The role involves teaching, planning instructional activities, advising students and maintaining training equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering technology, industry experience, and a commitment to professional development and community service. Assignments will include on-campus, in-person instruction and may include online courses.
Requirements
- Associate degree in the discipline or related field
- 2 years of related work experience

- Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out instructional activities.
- Provide academic advising and assist with student recruitment, retention, and student outcome assessment.
- Maintain records and report on student progress.
- Keep abreast of technical changes in the field and update the program accordingly.
- Participate in professional development activities, professional growth, and institutional service.
- Engage in various departmental activities, including course development and evaluation, mentoring adjunct faculty, and participation in continuing education/community service.
- Perform maintenance and minor repairs of training equipment
