About The Position

Barge Design Solutions is seeking a civil engineering intern for Summer 2027 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This paid, in-person internship offers a college student the opportunity to gain work experience while learning from mentors and leaders. The intern will collaborate with team members, support engineers with project deliverables, use AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation, and help prepare construction documents. The position is full-time at 40 hours per week. Interns are not eligible for company benefits, and housing assistance is not provided.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering at an accredited university.
• Must have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members on new ideas and innovations.
• Support engineers in completing project deliverables.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.
• Prepare construction documents.
