About The Position

As a civil engineering Intern in the higher education engineering market you’ll play a key role in supporting the firm and shaping projects that make a difference—from concept through completion. You’ll collaborate with talented teammates, contribute your expertise, and help us deliver thoughtful, high-quality solutions for those we serve. Internships offer invaluable hands-on experience to enhance your knowledge and understanding of your chosen career path. As an intern, you will be paired with a mid-to-senior level employee who will serve as your mentor. This mentor/mentee relationship is designed to foster a supportive environment where you can candidly discuss your career goals and aspirations. Our one-on-one informal mentoring approach fosters the development of professional relationships that complement your academic learning, enriching your overall internship experience. You will work on a variety of project types including utility and site design. These experiences will provide insights into the profession, collaborative teamwork, and serving the needs of our clients.

Requirements

Pursuing a Civil Engineering Degree
Basic AutoCAD / Civil 3D Skills
Ability to Read Engineering Plans
Basic Engineering Calculations
Microsoft Excel Skills
Exposure to Engineering Standards and Specifications
Field and Construction Knowledge
Technical Writing and Documentation
Full clean driver’s license
Current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
