About The Position
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Civil Engineering intern for an internship opportunity located at its Defense Systems Sector in Roy, Utah. The intern will join the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD) as a Civil/Structural Design Engineer on the Infrastructure Design Team (INF). The role supports design, modeling, and integration efforts for civil and structural elements of Sentinel Launch Facilities, Launch Centers, or Test Facilities. The internship offers training, professional development, and networking opportunities. The selected candidate must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, and remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
- Must be majoring in or have majored in Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice To Haves
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher.
- Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
