About The Position

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer PE to work on challenging site development and redevelopment projects. The role oversees the design and coordination of large-scale multifamily residential, retail, corporate, and industrial projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and managing technical documentation through successful project completion. The position involves site development, water resources, civil engineering, and public infrastructure work, as well as subdivision planning and project management. The role is open to candidates in Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Houston, Chattanooga, Columbus, Chicago, Rochester, or Novi/Detroit. Requirements

• Be an Ohio-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or a PE candidate.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in land and site development.
• Have experience in the civil/land development sector, including single-site and municipal-type projects.
• Have experience developing construction documents for public-sector clients, including cities, counties, and water districts.
• Have proficient skills with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Have excellent communication and writing skills.
• Be able to work well with team members and project stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MicroStation; it is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Work with a Project Manager to assist with construction documents for site development, water resources, and/or civil projects.
• Prepare construction documents, calculations, and reports for public or private clients.
• Lead design efforts for public infrastructure, including roads, sidewalks, stormwater, and utility improvements.
• Lead design efforts for subdivision master plans, grading plans, and utility plans for new developments and redevelopments.
• Work with municipalities to obtain necessary permits.
• Manage site development or redevelopment projects.
