About The Position

C.T. Male Associates, an employee-owned, multi-discipline engineering, surveying, and architectural firm based in the Capital Region, is seeking a driven Civil Engineer II to join our Latham, NY office. Join our team and gain experience working on a diverse range of civil, water/wastewater, stormwater, dam safety and land development projects that directly impact our region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an accredited program.
• One to three (1-3) years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• E.I.T. certification preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and support the division in all phases of design and construction, including investigation and design of dams, a variety of water/wastewater distribution and treatment systems, site design and engineering, stormwater analysis and engineering, and other typical industry tasks.
• Conduct research, feasibility studies, presentation material and schematics, design development and construction documents on engineering projects.
• Produce design calculations, specifications, estimates, construction details and sketches, and other technical documents for projects.
• Perform site reconnaissance and construction site observations as required for projects.
• Prepare and investigate proposals.
• Review shop drawings and other construction submittals.
