About The Position

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer PE to work on challenging site development and redevelopment projects. The role involves overseeing the design and coordination of large-scale multifamily residential, retail, corporate, and industrial projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing technical documentation, and driving projects to completion. The successful candidate will contribute technical expertise and problem-solving skills to complex site development work in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Be an Ohio-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or a PE-candidate Civil Engineer.
Have 5 or more years of experience in land and site development.
Have experience in the civil/land development sector, including single-site and municipal-type projects.
Have experience developing construction documents for public-sector clients, including cities, counties, and water districts.
Have excellent communication and writing skills.
Be able to work well with team members and project stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Experience with MicroStation, considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Work with a Project Manager to assist with completing construction documents for site development, water resources, and/or civil projects.
Prepare construction documents, calculations, and reports for public or private clients.
Lead the design effort for public infrastructure, including roads, sidewalks, stormwater, and utility improvements.
Lead the design effort for subdivision master plans, grading plans, and utility plans for new developments and redevelopments.
Work with municipalities to obtain necessary permits.
Manage site development or redevelopment projects.
