About The Position
Murphy Tower Service is seeking a construction crew laborer to assist with building projects according to client scopes of work and construction drawings, under the direction of the Civil Crew Leader. The company provides on-the-job training and ongoing opportunities for employees to learn and grow.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Demonstrated experience in construction trades.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and strong winds.
Nice To Haves
- CDL.
Responsibilities
- Excavate, form, and pour tower foundation spread footings.
- Load and unload tools and equipment.
- Follow scopes of work and construction drawings to complete projects.
- Verify that tools, equipment, and stocked supplies on the trailer are available and in working order.
- Attend daily tailgate meetings to review tasks and safety issues, and report safety concerns to the Civil Crew Leader.
- Take pictures of completed work and provide documentation to the Project Manager as needed.
- Keep the work site clean, organized, and free of trash.
- Tie rebar mats and cages.
- Read laser levels and grade sticks.
- Trench and install PVC conduit and ground rings.
- Hand-dig around utilities and shovel or rake dirt and gravel.
